Terms and Conditions TikiBoatsRental

The minimum age to captain/operate one of the TikiBoats is 21 years old.
Captain/Operator is required to show a valid ID upon check-in if requested.
It is not allowed to captain/operate one of the Tikiboats while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Only the pre-registered designated “Captain/operator” is allowed to operate the TikiBoat.

 

 

Deductible and damage:
The deductible for damage to other vessels is 1800,- naf/.

The Captain/Operator will receive an agreement to sign upon arrival. The damage to the other vessel is calculated according to the damage report of the insurer or according to the costs of the parts to be replaced and the installation costs.

 

Deposit:
A $250 security deposit is required. If the vessel/TikiBoat is returned with damage, these costs for this damage will be deducted from the deposit. This also applies to missing or damaged inventory. The inventory is calculated according to the new replacement value. Due to local Curacao banking procedures LOCAL creditcards can NOT be used for deposit in this case CASH is required, all other FOREIGN Creditcards CAN be used for the security deposit reserve.

 

Liability:
TikiBoatsRental will not be held liable for any damage as a result of death, injury, accident, injury, loss or theft caused to the participant(s) or their property during or as a result of the activities or arrangements. Unless this is due to intent and/or gross negligence of (the employees of) TikiBoatsRental. The client and/or participant is liable towards TikiBoatsRental for damage, or any other disadvantage caused by the act or omission of himself, or third parties admitted by him on board.

 

Late arrival:
If you arrive later than the reserved start time, the reserved end time will be adhered to. If you come back later than the reserved end time, the extra time will be charged at 200% of the rental price.

 

Cancellation policy:
If a reservation is canceled or changed by Customer, the following amounts will be charged per reservation, unless otherwise agreed, please give us a call.

Cancellation at least 24 hours before the commencement date will be fully refunded (except for bank charges)

In case of cancellation within 24 hours before the commencement date, the customer must pay 100% of the reserved amount.

 

General reservation:
TikiBoatsRental reserves the right to make changes to the activity or the arrangement if there are good reasons to do so. In this case cancellation before or within the 24 hours period will be refunded in full.

 

 

Bad weather?
Free to rebook to another date.

If bad weather is forecasted on the day of the reservation, a different date and time can be reserved at no extra cost. You can only move a reservation by contacting TikiBoatsRental  by telephone the day before your reservation. If you have reserved catering/BBQ platter, you can change the day before the reservation before 12 noon free of charge to another date. After 12PM the costs for the catering are due and the Catering/BBQ Platter can be collected by customer at TikiBoatsRental.

The Definition of “Bad weather” is understood to mean heavy thunderstorms, storms and/or prolonged rainfall.

 

Waste and cleaning costs:
When you return the vessel, we kindly ask that you return it clean and bring your own waste to the available Waste containers at the marina.

If you return the vessel very dirty, an additional $20.00 cleaning fee will be charged.

 

The general terms and conditions of TikiBoatsRental apply to all our trips. Unless otherwise stated/explained
